Bicycles

Riding a bike is great fun, it keeps you fit and it is gentle on the environment. With our facilities for transporting bikes we can transport you and it in an environmentally friendly manner:

• if your legs happen to be too tired to pedal any further,
• if it rains, or
• if the starting-off point for your tour is too far away.

We will be happy to help you in these and other circumstances.

Your ticket entitles you to take your bike with you free of charge on all VGF underground trains, trams and buses. You and your two wheels will be warmly welcome with VGF at the following times:

Monday to Friday:

• before 6.00 a.m.,
• from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.,
• from 6.30 p.m. to the end of operations, and
• all day on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and during the Hessen school holidays.

We would like you to make sure you do not get in the way of other passengers with your bike.

Please use the door areas identified with pictograms. If they are already fully occupied by prams, wheelchairs or other bikes, please wait for the next bus or tram.
