Folding and extendible ramps

This equipment, which is located on door 2 of our busses, helps passengers to enter and exit the vehicle and makes it possible to enter the vehicle without stairs. VGF-low-floor trams also have a corresponding device in the form of a folding or extendible ramp. The extendible ramp consists of an extendible platform on the second door of our older low-floor trams (R-car) in the direction of travel. Our latest low-floor tram generation (S-car) has a folding ramp on the first door, which is simply folded from the inside out and compensates for the difference in height between the vehicle floor and the edge of the station platform.
