VGF’s trams

Trams in Frankfurt are identified by the issuing of a series of letters. The most recent type of tram for instance, the second type of low-floor tram to come into service in Frankfurt, bears the designation “S”. The types currently in service as the K (Ebbelwei-Express), the Pt, the R and the S; many older types of vehicle can be seen in the Museum of Transport.
