There are two versions of this type of vehicle. Type U2h (h = “high”) the entrance step has been filled in so that passengers can walk aboard on routes U1, U2 and U3 with almost no step to negotiate at all. Version U2e (e = “even”), on the other hand, is in service on lines U6 and U7; its step height is on an even level with the ground to make entering as easy as possible.
