These and many other questions can be answered by our passenger attendants at the central stations such as Hauptwache and Konstablerwache. Information and instructions are also available if there are changes in the route network or in tariffs. They can also help you with questions on finding your way in the local area, with problems or breakdowns on the escalators, lifts or the automatic ticket dispensers. In addition to this they are also available to answer passengers’ questions on local diversions or construction work, and can provide real help for customers with prams or baggage or anyone else with limited mobility to reach the platform and the train or tram that they need.
The passenger attendants are on duty from Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m., and on Saturdays between 10.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. With their mobile phones they can fetch help quickly in any case of danger and can report any breakdowns immediately.
The passenger attendants’ job is to make VGF passengers’ access to the buses, trams and trains easier and thus to supplement and improve its service to its customers. This benefits occasional travellers and tourists in particular. That is why you will also find them in the Information Pavilion at Hauptbahnhof. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. and Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
