The annual season ticket – travel for 12 months, pay for only 10

The annual season ticket offers you plenty of advantages. You have the choice between the freely transferable or the non-transferable personal annual season ticket photo identification.

The following applies to both tickets:

• They are valid for 12 months starting on the first day of any month.
• The month on which they start can be freely chosen in advance (up to three months in advance for cash purchases).
• In Frankfurt they include travel to and from the airport.
• You can travel out and back, or round and round, and interrupt your trip as often as you like.
• On weekdays from 7.00 p.m. onwards you can take one adult with you and all your own children, or up to three other children. This rule applies all day on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays in Hessen, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
• Convenient monthly payments are possible. If this method is chosen the contract is automatically renewed from year to year.
• If you would like to travel first class we can offer you the annual season ticket including surcharge or the surcharge annual season ticket.

The difference between the transferable and the non-transferable ticket becomes clear if the ticket is lost. Personal annual season tickets that are lost or become unusable are replaced for a single administrative charge of €25. This is unfortunately not possible in the case of transferable tickets, and the monthly payments will still continue to be charged.

Both kinds of annual season ticket are available for cash or for payment by ATM, credit or EC card at our VGF ticket offices or with an EC card from any Card-o-mat.

Monthly payments or a single payment

To enable us to send you your annual season ticket in good time we need to receive your order no later than the tenth day of the preceding month. Information about annual season tickets, including the full text of the contractual terms and conditions, are also available online or from our ticket offices.

The 9 o’clock annual season ticket for adults

The same conditions of use apply as for the 9 o’clock monthly season ticket, and you can order them and take other passengers with you in the same way as with the full-price annual season ticket:

• It entitles you to travel anywhere in the RMV region from 9.00 a.m. onwards on working days (Mondays to Fridays), or at any time of day on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
• They are valid for 12 months starting on the first day of any month.
• The first day of validity can be chosen freely up to two months in advance.
• It is transferable.
• In Frankfurt it includes travel to and from the airport.
• You can travel out and back, or round and round, and interrupt your trip as often as you like.
• On weekdays from 7.00 p.m. onwards you can take one adult with you and all your own children, or up to three other children. This rule applies all day on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays in Hessen, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
• 9 o’clock annual season tickets are available from our VGF ticket offices or with an EC card from any Card-o-mat.
