Weekly and monthly season tickets at the trainee’s and apprentice’s tariff

This low-price offer is available to:

• children aged from 6 to 14 (both inclusive),
• schoolchildren and students, trainees and apprentices, and interns on application to any VGF ticket office.

Please note the following terms and conditions:

• Children can be issued with these concessionary tickets on presentation of a birth certificate to any of the VGF ticket offices.
• For schoolchildren and students age 15 or more a special document is necessary. We can provide you with an order card to fill in and sign. One of the spaces on the card has to be filled in, signed and stamped by a representative of your school or college or the firm that is training you. When you present the completed order card at one of our ticket offices you will be given your ticket or Customer Card.
• The valid ticket always consists of your personal Customer Card combined with weekly or monthly vouchers. It is only valid for the period of time entered on the Customer Card and within the stated combination of tariff zones.
• Because they are available for a concessionary price, weekly and monthly season tickets at the trainee’s and apprentice’s tariff are not transferable and do not entitle you to take anyone else with you.
• Please remember to renew in good time.
• Weekly and monthly season tickets at the trainee’s and apprentice’s tariff that are valid for the Frankfurt city area also include travel to and from the airport
• Trainees and apprentices who attend college outside the tariff zone that they have actually booked can, under certain circumstances, use single tickets at children’s prices for travel to and from college. For this purpose it is necessary to fill in an order form (626 KB) that is available by phone, from our ticket offices or by e-mail.
