RMV season ticket customers (starting with the weekly season ticket) can travel on ICE trains only with Deutsche Bahn tickets. If they wish to travel on RMV routes they will additionally need the RMV long-distance supplementary ticket. RMV sells these for its Price Levels 1–5 and 13. If tickets are inspected, both must be presented and must be valid for that day. Otherwise the periods of validity of the two tickets do not need to be identical. The long-distance supplementary ticket can only be issued in the start or destination tariff zone of the relevant Deutsche Bahn ticket.
This ticket is available exclusively from the ticket offices of Deutsche Bahn AG.
