The HessenTicket: with one ticket up to five persons can travel anywhere they like within the State of Hessen – and all for only €32.
You can travel at any time from 9.00 a.m. onwards from Mondays to Fridays, and at any time of day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
These tickets cannot be used on long-distance trains, meaning those designated D, IC, EC or ICE. Please note: it is only available for 2nd class travel, and it is not possible to pay a surcharge and travel 1st class.
The ticket is available on all routes, whether rail, bus, tram or underground, that form part of the transport grouping within the Federal State of Hessen: Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV), Nordhessische Verkehrsverbund (NVV) and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN).
The HessenTicket is also an inexpensive alternative for spontaneous trips. It is available everywhere where the transport grouping’s tickets are on sale, meaning it can also be bought from the VGF automatic ticket dispensers.

The Frankfurt Card
The Frankfurt Card enables you travel all over the city and find out about its wide variety of cultural offerings at a reduced price. The advantages include:
- The ticket for local public transport within the Frankfurt city area (including the airport)
- 20% reduction on conducted tours in Frankfurt am Main
- 50% reduction at 26 Frankfurt museums, the zoo and the Palmengarten
- 20% reduction on scheduled ships tours
- A discount in many catering and retail outlets

- 5 persons/1-day: € 19.00

The Frankfurt Card is available in travel agents, at railway stations, from the Tourist Information Offices at Hauptbahnhof and in the Römer, and at Frankfurt Airport (Arrivals Hall B, Terminal 1, Hotels & Tours).

The Frankfurt-Pass offers many advantages to low-income citizens whose primary residence is in Frankfurt. There are reduced prices for entrance tickets to city theatres and for VGF tickets in the Frankfurt tariff zone.
Incidentally: Season tickets combined with the Frankfurt-Pass are issued personally and therefore cannot be transferred. You can obtain more information on this aspect from your social services office.
The TourTicket is a flexible season ticket offered by RMV. You can book it for large groups of 100 or more people, such as for spectators at major events, conferences and congresses. We set the validity for the length of time and geographical area that specifically meet your requirements and calculate an individual price for you.
