Students

• applies to all students enrolled at a university in the RMV area
• and the costs for it are collected with the tuition fees
• is valid for any number of journeys in 2nd class in the entire RMV area
• also applies to the transitional tariff zones of the NVV and VRN
• is not transferable and does not include a shared carriage arrangement
• is shown on the study card of the respective university
• is considered to be a form of student ID without a photograph issued by the university administration only in conjunction with an official identity card, passport, German driving licence, international driving licence or ISIC International Student ID. Student IDs with a photograph are also valid as tickets without an accompanying document
• is generally valid for 7 months. The exact period of validity is printed on it. Different validity periods may apply at individual universities.
