Monthly tickets

• is available for every price level (PDF) (german), including in the transitional tariff zones
• is issued as an eTicket on a chip card, in the transitional tariff zone as a paper ticket
• cheaper than 4 weekly tickets for the Frankfurt city area
• can be used from the first day of validity to the same date in the following month, if not available the day before
• entitles the holder to any number of journeys within the validity period
• is available for adults and at a reduced rate for children/trainees
• is transferable
• can also be purchased in advance from any day of validity
• also includes travel to and from the airport if valid in Frankfurt
• entitles you to bring one adult and any number of children under 15 years of age from 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays in Hesse, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve this also applies all day.

• costs 42.55 euros
• is valid for the Frankfurt city area including the airport
• is not transferable
• requires a Frankfurt-Pass valid at least as long as the ticket before purchase. Once this eligibility has been issued on a chip card, it can be used to purchase tickets at the ticket machine
• can only be purchased on presentation of a valid Frankfurt-Pass
• a valid photo ID must be carried
• is otherwise subject to the same regulations as the monthly ticket
