Contactless payment with the Girocard at a VGF ticket vending machine.

Many of our tickets are available 365 days a year at any of our 460 VGF ticket machines.

At around 100 of them you can only pay without cash. Nevertheless, there is at least one machine at each of our stations that accepts cash. Our cashless machines are usually located on the outbound platform.

The blank chip card for buying season tickets from the machines is available in our TicketShops, TicketCenters and in the Infobus. Here you can also register the necessary proof of eligibility to purchase the Student Ticket Hesse or tickets for the Frankfurt-Pass directly.

You do not need a chip card to buy single or day tickets; these are printed out on paper.

Available payment methods include: Cash, debit card (EC card) or credit card (VisaCard, MasterCard and AmericanExpress).
